Orkin's Certifications

The pest management industry requires companies and their representatives, from entomologists to service technicians, to maintain certain certifications to perform their jobs. Beyond these requirements, Orkin works to obtain additional third-party certifications of its practices, showing the company holds itself to the absolute highest industry standards. While these additional certifications are not required, Orkin partners with these organizations to learn more about environmentally responsible pest control. Furthermore, Orkin believes that independent certifications such as GreenPro, QualityPro and PESP help employees and customers fully understand Orkin’s goals and mission.

GreenPro and QualityPro Certifications

Orkin earned the National Pest Management Association (NPMA)’s GreenPro and QualityPro certifications by meeting stringent criteria for providing environmentally responsible pest management and using ethical business practices.

Orkin also participates in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program (PESP). PESP member companies include pest management companies, landscapers, property managers and agricultural companies. As a PESP member, Orkin monitors its pesticide use and reports this information to the EPA. Orkin’s experts also attend PESP workshops, where they learn from EPA experts and other PESP companies.
